| Bij de bouw van de tweede, derde en vierde stoel werd "seriematig" gewerkt. Het blijft overigens allemaal handwerk, stuk voor stuk. Bij de achterste stoel moeten de twee zijdelingse rugsteunen nog worden aangebracht. Bij drie van de vier stoelen moeten de lelijke rechte kruisen tussen de poten nog worden vervangen door de definitieve elegant opgebogen versies. Die rechte kruisen zijn uitsluitend een montage-hulpmiddel. | When building the second, third and fourth chair I worked "serially". Well, it is all hand work, of course. They really are made one by one. The last chair in this row still has to be fitted with the two curved side supports for the back. In three of the four chairs I still have to replace the ugly straight crosses you see here between the legs with the final elegant upbent versions. Those straight crosses are just aids to facilitate mounting the legs. |
